perhaps u don't know this, but i was all jittery and nervous on the mrt..
it's like seeing someone new, yet so familiar...


the sunlight shone through the gaps
between the red bricks, illuminating the

hi,

tmr is CNY! yea.

don't feel too well now.. spliting headache. and my stomach feels runny...drank too much during steamboat yesterday perhaps..sighh

i close my eyes but i can't fall asleep
the stars seem to be mocking at me tonight,
and all i can do is to hold on tight.

i seem to be living in liquid,
and when you speak i can only see,
bubbles coming out of your mouth.
the way they rise from a swimming fish.

yes the pillow is dry,
and i wake up quite the same,
dark circles around my eyes,
but that doesn't mean i didn't cry.

here i wobble on in life,
this endless road in a bumpy jeep.
what's on the radio i don't really care,
foreign words is what seep into my mind.

When I was young I used to
Sit on the branches of the old oak tree.
I named the tree King so I could be
Queen.
Together, we ruled the world, of
Repeating sunrises and sunsets.
At dawn, the sky was lined with a pale peachy
Pink at the bottom, layered with hues of blue and vanillla.
There would be swirls of clouds, resembling
Freshly added milk stirred in my coffee.
At dusk, the sun had already set,
Flashing its last lingering illumination,
After which the splashes of orange would disappear,
Leaving the sky a comforting navy.
Midnight would arrive,
And I looked forward to the
Eerie hooting of the owl,
And pretty Lady Moon with her seamless black satin gown
Studded with her glittery companions.
The breeze seemed to be like a lullaby and I would
Fall asleep, in the arms of my old oak tree.
My clock was cloaked, I didn't understand time.
With a few flutters of my eyelids I awake,
To see the Sun rise again.
One day, they told me the old oak was cut down,
"The deadly Oak Wilt" , they said,
"We had no choice."
My eyes were wet, but I was
Calm.
And now a blurred photo of silent sorrow I see
As I live in the hands of menacing time.
The old oak tree is dead,
And it took a piece of me.
The photographs we capture together-
Red carpet welcoming me
Into a life where the past is real,
And a future of uncertainty and complexity.
And sometimes a magic carpet,
Travelling backwards to the
Time when I spent my days,
Hugging the trunk of my
Beloved
Oak tree.

hi. no one blogs anymore. the blogs of those links (points to the right) have become stale and stagnant...


maybe i shall blog. again. about things happening in my life... write about the things i do everyday.
but i stopped doing that cos it seemed superficial and stupid. Who would be interested in what i do anyway? but then this is my own blog and i can write anything i like in it.

lines cross and diverge..and coverge again.

people keep on changing, and evolving ... into different persons...and they revert back to their original form, and some time later they become totally different again.
but the underlying truth is that they are still the same person as before, no matter how they change and shed their skin.

*yawn*


very very sleepy right now..

drowsy..
my limbs are going limp..

why do i feel like this everday...

*YAWN* i really would like to sleep but when I think of it, sleeping = wasting time...
so i always end up doing something else which explains why i am ALWAYS and CONSTANTLY sleepy...

i am on my own now.
i was on my own all the while.

now i feel dumb and naive.

well guess it's better to stand tall and strong, then to cling and wind around some fence or gate. When winter or heavy rain comes I don't want to fall flat on my face in the mud. I don't want to blame anyone. I don't want to channel my hate and frustration to anything or anyone, anymore.

i know i have to take responsibilty for myself,
for the things i do, for the things i choose to do, and for the things i choose not to do.

i am walking on this one way street and i don't know what is on the other end.
i won't know until i get there. all i know is to keep on walking and to greet the passer-bys with either a glare, a smile or a expressionless face, depending on my mood. i won't give a strained or a plastered smile. because if it's fake it will look too real, too real for me to even know it's a lie. what's real anyway?

i don't know whether to stop walking or to continue. the days are long with the hot sun beating upon my back, either that or my world is covered with thick annoying fog. The nights are worse - sleepless, with the sky a deep somber black without a single star, with only the gusty wind as my companion, and sometimes, haunting disturbing voices that penetrate deep into my dreams. and then i wake up in the morn exhausted, legs wobbly and head feeling like a dumbell.

and life goes on my dear.

My brain is starting to feel stupid and retarded. Day by day, it is transforming into a gooey mass, with my thoughts swirling like little bubbles within. I can nearly smell the stench of my rancid decomposing brain with my poor tortured brain cells disintegrating at an exponential rate. My memory is a mixture of new and old moving pictures in a bucket of murky water. I can't remember what I have learnt. I don't even know the difference between a kidney and a liver. I have trouble remember what I did a minute ago, because my rotten brain has stopped registering my actions. The past feels a fragmented vase. It feels almost painful; to recall any solid whole scene, because that means picking up those broken pieces which will cut your fingers.

I have become remote and unaffected by the things that happening around, or even, to me. I feel like I'm looking at things through a glass window pane, and I feel safe within.

and life goes on my dear.

so it's true. once you start doing something, you can't stop.
old habits die hard.
